High School students at BACA study through our Affiliate program with Liberty University Online Academy. All courses are taught from a biblical perspective, and students study core subjects including language arts, mathematics, Bible, history, science, and physical education/health, as well as choose from an ever-growing variety of electives, including literature, arts and culture, personal finance, college readiness, and foreign languages like Spanish and Latin.
-
Liberty University also offers Dual Enrollment courses for 11th and 12th grade with a variety of degree plans, allowing high schoolers to graduate with an Associates degree in the field of their choice.
-
In order to develop attitudes of generosity and kindness, high schoolers are required to obtain 30 hours of community service. Students participate in both on and off-campus projects, through personal projects and classroom service events such as:
-
Tutoring younger students
-
helping to clean/care for the building
-
Preparing for special events
-
Volunteering at local Food Pantries
-
Small outreach projects
-
-
Students will write a reflection of their service at the end of the school year highlighting what they have learned and how serving has helped them to grow in their faith. Service hour reports will be sent home quarterly.
