Athletics
We are SO excited and thrilled to share that BACA students can now OFFICIALLY participate in public school sports! We are thanking the Lord for this incredible opportunity that we have prayed for for many years, and it is finally here!
To provide a brief background, there have been a number of court cases against other school districts in PA and then the PIAA that we have been following these last few years, and those cases have been won! It was ruled that not allowing students of private, faith-based schools who do not have sports programs of their own to participate in their public school's sports is a violation of our First Amendment rights of Religious Freedom. AMEN! And the PIAA thus drafted a brand new policy to allow students of private, faith-based schools that do not have sports programs of their own to now participate in their public school district sports.

What does this mean? This now means that BACA students in grades 7-12 may participate in the public school sports programs *in their district of residence.* Bradford area residents may participate in Bradford public school sports, Kane district residents may participate in Kane public school district sports, etc. Please note this distinction. This will begin for the fall sports of 2026, for which sign-ups open in April of 2026.

How do you participate? Families may simply contact the Athletic Director of their public school district and begin the process. We have already spoken with Bradford's Mike Erickson, and he is ready and willing to work with our Bradford area residents! For Bradford area residents, you may follow their Athletics page for schedules and information and to participate, begin the process in April by reaching out to Mr. Erickson - his phone is listed on that page, and his email to also follow up is merickson@bradfordareaschools.org.

Choir and Stagecraft
Students in grades 3 through 6th grade are required to participate in our Choir program, with opportunities to audition for roles in our Christmas and Easter programs. 7th through 12th graders have the choice to continue in Choir or participate in our all-new Stagecraft and Production class, where they learn how to build and design sets, run A/V equipment, and more!
Worship Band
Students 6th grade and up can audition to participate in our school's worship band! Students will be able to hone their musical talent while learning how to work as a team, and, most importantly, give glory to God through music and praise. Worship band practices from 3:45 - 4:45 pm on Fridays.
Private Music Lessons
Our amazing music teacher, Alice Stewart, offers private music lessons in a number of instruments to BACA families. Lessons are scheduled before or after school based on availability.
Clubs
BACA offers a variety of clubs for our students! To sign up, please contact the school office at 814-368-6800 to obtain a permission slip.

Art Club
Students of all ages are invited to come explore their creativity through fun, collaborative projects! Students learn fundamental art skills and techniques while socializing and having fun. Art Club meets every other Monday afternoon, and is led by our Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Henry.

Heal the Earth Club
Describe your service here. What makes it great? Use short catchy text to tell people what you offer, and the benefits they will receive. A great description gets readers in the mood, and makes them more likely to go ahead and book.

Yearbook Club
Students in grades 5th and up can join the Yearbook Club, and get to work together to create the school's yearbook! Students learn creativity in writing and visual arts, technology and photography skills, and how to work as a team! Yearbook Club is held every other Friday and it led by the high school facilitator, Mrs. Colon.
